Pretty ridiculous when you consider I haven’t gone into the office is nearly a year. I got it in March and wore a couple times before it went in the fall/winter pile.I got literally one wear out of them this fall before noticing a LONG run. Even then, they sent me a video on how to repair a different sort of issue. My nylons arrived with a very visible snag, they fought me about refunding/replacing and wouldn’t agree until I’d hit them up on multiple platforms. Some of these might have just been unknown to me. So yes, I have a good experience but I put in a lot of prep into preparing my parachute before I jump. I need to have a good return policy if I’m shopping online from a company. You can also find discount codes from their influencers on the tagged photos page that they wouldn’t necessarily share on their main page. Search comments! Companies not worth shopping with will have complaints under Insta photos or fake responses to their customers. ![]() com check, go into the tagged photos on Instagram to see people who are wearing the product and their feedback. Check out the product reviews on their website, do a product review. My Instagram will pop up with lots of places that I wouldn’t have necessarily found off Google but I am their target market. If I’m looking for something, I’ll spend 5-10 minutes searching Google and browsing sites - then wait a few days. I’ve had decent luck with my targeted ads. I buy from TaoBao pretty often and if drop shippers decided to sell reputable TaoBao items it would actually be good if they imported the stock and sold it domestically since the shipping takes forever and the fees for shipping are like 20$+ at minimum for a sweater. But TaoBao has the originals of those cute stock photos and the reputable shops are good quality and have a lot of authentic reviews. There's a barrier to entry when shopping there so a lot of people just go for Ali. I should probably bring up that a lot of items on AliExpress are actually just drop shipped from TaoBao anyways. The shipping will cost you more than the actual items. But yeah, if you wanted their JSK's you can get them directly from that shop. If you buy from them, they handle all of the extra work of shipping to you though, and you don't have to use a shipping agent yourself. Nothing Basic Here is drop shipping from the SNBL brand store from Taobao here: Manier De Voir in particular seemed like a legitimate company with their own in-house stock, distinct aesthetic, and consistent use of the same models and staging, all of which negated most concerns about dropshipping. This is especially true for those ads for businesses on Facebook that claim to be "going out of business"-the vast majority of those stock photos are actually stolen from other shops/designers and don't look like what you'll receive. and I strongly recommend running reverse image searches on stock photos to see if you can find them elsewhere. But all in all the algorithm did its job well-I saw, I liked, I remembered, I bought.Ī LOT of these "instagram brands" though are just dropshippers you'd often be able to find identical stock photos to many items through AliExpress, Taobao, Shein, Wish, YesStyle, etc. Their aesthetic is well within my comfort zone-I really liked the lowkey-cyberpunk/techwear take on loungewear and athletic wear that they had- but it didn't expand any horizons for me I won't be visiting their site if I want fresh inspiration or to check up regularly on new items. Overall I was happy with my purchases-the quality was good, especially for the sale price, and I did not need to return anything, although I did run into a sizing issue with one item due to some US/UK sizing differences. I had them on my radar for a few months after seeing the ad, but between the UK sizing, the expensive returns, and my overall unfamiliarity with the brand, I waited until the Black Friday sale to pull the trigger on anything. I ordered from Manier De Voir in late 2020 after having seen them in a Facebook ad. Hair, Makeup, Skincare, Fitness, and Fragrance
